Giovanni Bandini

(Called Giovanni del'Opera; Florence, c .1540- id ., 1599) Italian sculptor.Disciple of Bandinelli, he completed the reliefs that his master left unfinished on the balustrade of the Florence Cathedral (1572).Work on other reliefs at Santa Croce and Santa Maria Novella attests to a work that is distinguished by its simple and archaic forms.
