Structure of the Petronas Towers
The structure is based on a central nucleus of a square shape and 23 x 23 meters, this nucleus is built in reinforced concrete and is attached to a ring that surrounds perimeter formed by 16 columns of concrete.
The floors built in structural steel , much lighter, with laminated steel beams of 457 mm , these beams will be placed every 2.8 m. The foundation was made from a concrete slab which in turn is supported by a maze of underground columns of reinforced concrete.

Exterior Structure
