In some of our latest articles we have analyzed different aspects of knowledge construction historical .In the latter post we have to reflect on the historical categories of " space ", " change " and " permanence " and its importance to sharpen our understanding of the history .

As we know the History studies human societies in the past .Y of course, these societies lived in a territory ( space ) in particular, so whenever we start studying a society of the past we must place it in space and time.
The space is a very important aspect e to study the History. Each territory has its own characteristics that can be decisive for understanding many aspects of a society .For example: what economic production does it do, trade routes, the distribution of the population, the strategies in wars, etc.In addition, societies transform the space in which they live, adapting it to their needs.
On the other hand, when we study History , the social change appears frequently. There are many examples of change in a society : change a president, change the laws, change control over a territory as a result of a war, political ideas change, production technologies change...
On the other hand, there are certain characteristics that remain for a long time almost unchanged, they are called permanences Stays are sometimes a little harder to see , but you can tell us a lot about a society.
Some possible examples in today's society: the religious conflict in Middle East ; the division of societies into a minority of the very rich population and a large majority very poor; capitalism as the predominant economic system in the world; racial discrimination; the Spanish language in the Spanish ex-colonies of America.
