Hans Daniel Jensen
(Hamburg, 1907-Heidelberg, 1973) German physicist.He studied in his hometown and was a professor at the Hannover Higher Polytechnic School and at the University of Heidelberg.He developed the theory of the structure of the atomic nucleus.At the same time, but independently, Maria Goeppert-Mayer made the same discovery.These two physicists, along with Eugene Paul Wigner, received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1963.
