José Pardo

(Lima, 1864- id ., 1947) Peruvian politician.Son of Manuel Pardo.Leader of the Civil Party and Minister of Foreign Relations, in 1904 he was elected President of the Republic.Overthrown by Leguía at the end of his second presidential term (1919), due to the unpopularity of the measures he adopted to face the consequences caused by World War I.
