Hans Tausen

(Birkende, 1494-Ribe, 1561) Danish reformer.He was a student of Luther at Wittenberg.In 1530 he contributed to the writing of the Confessio Hafniensis (forty-three articles of the Danish Reformation) and was Bishop of Ribe (1542).He is the author of numerous writings on theological themes.
