José de Villaviciosa

(Sigüenza, 1589-Cuenca, 1658) Spanish writer.He was reporter of the Supreme Council of the Inquisition (1622-1638) and Archdeacon of Alcoz y Moya (1648).Only La mosquea (1615), a burlesque epic in twelve songs, inspired by a poem by Folengo, in which he describes the fight between flies and ants, remains of his work.
