Garci Sánchez de Badajoz

(Called the last Macías; Écija, 1460-?, 1526) Spanish poet.Some of his poems, among which the Sueño stands out, are included in the Cancionero general .The easy metric and the anecdotal fame that his person enjoyed contributed to the spread of his broken foot verses dedicated to singing the Lamentaciones de amor .His other works include the Hell of lovers , the poem Dark-Light and, above all, the Job's Lessons , prohibited by the Holy Office.
