José de Calasanz Serra Ràfols

(Mahón, 1902-Barcelona, 1971) Spanish historian and archaeologist.Brother of Elías Serra Ràfols, he was one of the founders and curator of the Archaeological Museum of Barcelona and a member of the Institute of Catalan Studies.He made numerous excavations, particularly Iberian-Roman.He is the author of The prehistoric settlement of Catalonia (1930) and Life in Spain in Roman times (1944).
