Joseph Roth
(Brody, 1894-Paris, 1939) Austrian writer.A correspondent for the Frankfurter Zeitung , he moved to Paris in 1933.He is the author of the novels Job (1930), inspired by a biblical theme, and Radetzky's March (1932), his best work, in which he describes the decline of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the social conditions in his country before 1914.
